Vicksburg blessed to have competent first responders

To the editor:

On May 17, I was involved in an accident at the First Baptist Church Medical/Dental Clinic on Adams Street. Following a 911 call, paramedics came to my rescue.

Assistant Chief Tim Love was so kind, encouraging me and telling me what to do in order to be moved to the ambulance. Paramedic Dion Harris and EMT Jabaris McDaniel were so awesome in taking care of me and seeing that I got to UMMC in Jackson in a safe and timely manner.

I am so proud that Vicksburg has such a competent group to handle emergencies. God placed these men and used them for His Glory.
