Nick Mekus, Robert Irby and Stephen Olier went low and left Clear Creek Golf Course flying high.

The trio shot a second-round 56 to win the Bud Light 3-Man Scramble by a comfortable four shots on Sunday over the team of Justin Hays, Jacob Paulk and Dan Luke. Mekus, Irby and Olier finished with a tournament total of 113, while Hays, Paulk and Luke were at 117.

Paulk and Luke won the tournament last year with a different partner, and had entered the final round Sunday tied with Mekus, Irby and Olier for the lead after both teams shot a 57 on Saturday.

Paulk, Luke and Hays shot a 60 on Sunday, however, which was good but not good enough to repeat as champions.

The team of Corey Waltman, Graham Upshaw and Patrick Dickson finished third, with a score of 120. Mason Jarabica, Blake Gober and Chase Lunceford finished with, at 121.

Mekus, Irby and Olier won $1,100 for their victory. Hays, Paulk and Luke pocketed $550 for second place. Waltman, Upshaw and Dickson got $250 and Jarabica, Gober and Lunceford $100 to split between them.

A total of 34 teams and 102 golfers participated in the tournament.
