To the editor:

Rick Standish and myself would like to start out by saying thank you Vicksburg. Because of our local business owners, and local citizens in our community, we raised $6,509 on June 23 to help Johnny Sellers.

I would like to give special thanks to Tractor Supply for letting us use their parking lot. Also, special thanks to friends of Abate for putting on the poker run, Jody and Chris Williams and Tecia Ive for helping to sale tickets and other things we had going on.

Trey and Renee Richard and family for taking care of the car wash; my mama, Carol Pownall, Mary Gordon, Lisa Palmertree, Lisa Pritchard, Samantha Pugh, Patricia Dennis, Ann Griffin, for helping with selling food and drinks, and bake sale. A special thanks to Angela Scott for the Bouncing House, snow cones and cotton candy Thanks to Loren and Rose Ellis and family for running that for me.

Huge thanks for DJ “Shaggy” Dailon Huskey K104.5 and James, William Muirhead, JW for our music and PA system.
