Carjackers make woman take off clothes in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS — Criminals involved in a carjacking Sunday night in Marigny reportedly robbed a man and then demanded a woman undress for them on the street.

Officials with the New Orleans Police Department said the incident 11 p.m. on Decatur Street, according to WWL radio in New Orleans.

“The victims were sitting inside their vehicle when they were approached by three unknown black males inside a small red four-door vehicle,” a NOPD report states. “Two subjects got out of the vehicle.”

The report says the suspects first robbed a 38-year-old man inside the car.

“They took his wallet and cellphone,” the report said.

It says then they demanded the 30-year-old woman strip.

“They then ordered Victim No. 2 to exit the vehicle and undress. The subjects jumped into the vehicle and fled,” the report said.
