Deborah Jane Holloway died Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at the Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 59.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, she was formerly employed by the Rainbow and Ameristar Casinos and also Doc’s Tobacco stores. She was a member of Warrenton Independent Baptist Church.

She was known and loved by many people and touched their lives in many special ways. She touched Larry’s life the most and gave him the most love of his life and her family.

Survivors include her husband Larry Holloway of Vicksburg; her two daughters, Katrina Montgomery of Vidalia, Louisiana, and Mechelle Been of Piedmont, Oklahoma; her son, Lloyd Nevels of Vicksburg; her sister, Carrol McMannus of Vidor, Texas, and her five grandchildren, Ina, Jada, Patrick, Addyson and Donovan.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2018, in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Monday until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tom McKinney, B.J. Hollman, Jeff Merritt, Bill Jeffers, Joe Shows and Chris Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Vicksburg Police Department.
