Dennis Liddell Logan went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 13, 2018. He was 52.

A native of Greenwood, he lived most of his life in Vicksburg, where he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and attended the 1st United Pentecostal church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bishop and Joann Dycus Logan; his brother, Jerald Marshall and his step-father, John Dornbusch.

Survivors include his two sisters, Vickie Barrett of Redwood and Shawn Pruitt of Yazoo City; his step-brother, Ed Dornbusch of Vicksburg; his nephews, Travis Barrett, Jacob Barrett, Justin Barrett, Coby Pruitt, Trey Pruitt, Jeremy Marshall, Andrew Marshall and Brandon Marshall; his nieces, Makensy Barrett, Chelsey Pruitt and Kristen Marshall.

The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice, Latonya and Sarah Lee Johnson, as well as the staff at Shady Lawn Nursing Home and the Rev. Dathan Tipton and our church family for their caring and support.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at 10 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dan Tipton officiating.
