Thank you Cannon Toyota

To the editor:

Yesterday, I was driving from Atlanta, Georgia, to my home in Texas when I stopped for gas in Pelahachie. A few miles down the road after gassing up, the car began to run really rough, vibrate and make noises. The engine light came on and rpms were running up to 5,000.

Afraid something really bad was happening, I pulled over and called Lexus service and was told I was probably sold bad gas. They advised me to continue driving to the nearest Lexus or Toyota dealership, keeping an eye on the oil and temperature gauges. I managed to make it into the Cannon Toyota dealership in Vicksburg, where I had already called ahead and spoken to Nick, the service manager.

I was greeted by a very pleasant Anthony Brown, who had already been made aware of my situation and was waiting for me! In less than an hour and a half, Anthony had run diagnostics, which confirmed water in the gas tank and had the situation remedied.

Thanks to Cannon Toyota and their awesome service department, I was soon happily on my way back to Texas. Vicksburg is fortunate to have Cannon Toyota and Honda and their employees in its city.
