Donald Ray McLeod

Donald Ray McLeod, 64, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Vicksburg, on July 12, 2018.  He was born the youngest of five boys on Sept. 16, 1953, in Vicksburg, to Richard Emmett McLeod, Jr and Alice Isabel McLeod.

He joined the U.S. Army in 1970 and retired 22 years later in 1992. After his service tenure, he worked as a pipe welder for his brother Richard until 1998.

He is preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, John and David McLeod.

He is survived by his children, Sean, Donald Jr. and Kelly; grandchildren, Brennan, Emma, Sarah, Winter, Samantha, Howard and brothers, Richard and Ronald.

Visitation will be at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, from 9 to 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bert Bryant conducting the memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Hackler Cemetery with military honors.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Warren County Children’s Shelter.
