Riverwalk Casino opens sports betting area

Riverwalk Casino opened its sports betting area Thursday morning with a ribbon cutting and Mayor George Flaggs Jr. placing the ceremonial first bet.

The casino is the first Vicksburg casino to open a sports betting area, and the first casino in the country to launch BetAmerica Sportsbook.

“We’re excited to launch BetAmerica Sportsbook at Riverwalk featuring Vicksburg’s widest array of betting options,” said Ginny Tzotzolas, president and manager of Riverwalk. We know our guests are going to love our convenient, easy-to-use betting kiosks with unique features that will provide a one of a kind experience.”
