A black Ruger.40-caliber handgun was reported taken about 8:36 a.m. Wednesday from a car parked in the 3600 block of Security Street.

• A 14-carat white gold diamond engagement ring valued at $13,270 was reported taken about 4:25 p.m. Wednesday from a car parked in the 3000 block of Drummond Street.

• A Dooney & Bourke bucket-style purse with a blue wallet and debit card were reported taken about 7:56 a.m. Thursday from car parked in the 100 block of Shady Lane.

•A Dooney & Bourke wallet, debit cards and $200 were reported taken about 7:41 a.m. Tuesday from a car parked in the 2000 block of Cherry Street.

• $13 were reported taken about 6 a.m. Tuesday from a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe parked in the 200 block of Starlight Drive.

• Pampers disposable diapers and baby wipes were reported taken from a car parked at the Fredella Village Apartments, 1205 China St.

• Shots were reported fired about 9:05 p.m. Tuesday in the Oak Street area.

Vicksburg police made the following arrests Tuesday and Wednesday:

• Derek DeAnthony Bowman, 34, 128Williams Road, was arrested about 4:55 a.m. by Clinton police on warrants from Vicksburg charging him with four counts of contempt of court.

• Ryheal Shanta Lee, 23, 1950 Hope St., was arrested about 1 p.m. at the Vicksburg Police Department on charges of malicious mischief and trespassing.

• A warrant was served on Sarah Ann Jackson, 74, 539 Hugo St.

• Warrants were served on Eric Dieon Ferguson, 29, 25 Warrenton Place.

• Mia Iman Thomas, 19, 2507 Cedars St., was arrested about 2:48 p.m. on Elizabeth Circle on two counts of contempt of court.

• Eric Dewayne Smith, 47, 727 Adams St., was arrested about 3:19 p.m. at Madison and Washington streets, on charges of public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and trespassing.

• Warrants were served Wednesday on Tyrone Darnell Haggins, 32, 289 Ironwood Drive.

• Warrants were served Wednesday on Martha Ann White, 37, 1028 Polk St.

• Felix Reese Williams, 28, 2808 Yerger, was arrested about 1:17 p.m. Wednesday at the police department on a charge of contempt of court.

• Tramorris Lamontay Galvin, 24,129 Alcorn St., was arrested about 2:14 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of North Poplar Street on a charge of contempt of court and three counts of domestic assault. He was also served with a warrant.

• Warrants were served Wednesday on Chantilly Lillian Hall, 23, 1225 Prospect St.

• Desiree O’Neal, 24, 1950 Hope St., was arrested about 4:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of Clay St. on two counts of simple assault.

• Corey Lavelle Anderson, 32, 17957 Old Highway 80, Edwards, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Clay St. on three counts of contempt of court.

Watacha Monique Shelby, 41, 120 Eastover Drive, was arrested about 11:54 p.m. Wednesday on Iowa Boulevard on a charge of contempt of court. She was also served with warrants.
