Funeral services for Jacquelyn Simpson are to be held on Friday, Aug. 31, in the Chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Trollars Moore officiating; interment shall follow at the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. There will be a visitation hour held on Thursday, Aug. 30, in the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m.

Jacquelyn Delores Stalls-Simpson passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 22, in Merit Health River Region Medical Center following a brief illness. She was 70. She was a homemaker and had attended Calvary M. B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Luda Mae Diggins Stalls, and a sister, Irlandious Bridges.

She is survived by her Goddaughter, Precious Wilson of Vicksburg; her brother, John Diggins of Hephzibah, Georgia; and her sister, Sylvia Walker of Byram.
