Media Lynn Cotton died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at her residence. She was 60.

Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, she lived a number of years in Clinton, where she graduated from Clinton High School. For the past 35 years she had made her home in the Vicksburg area.

She was a member of the Rocky Springs Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Oscar Nolan Cotton; her daughter, Dana Lynn Peacock (Aaron) of Vicksburg; her two sons, Oscar Nolan Cotton II of Vicksburg and Glenn David Cotton (Robin) of Lincoln, Alabama; her father, Elmer N. Johnson of Clinton; her brother, Mark Johnson of Madison; and her two grandchildren, Braydon Sanders and Garrett Cotton.

Memorial services will be noon, Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Cresswell officiating.
