Vicksburg Police Department reports and arrests

A window air conditioning unit valued at $200 was reported taken about 8:36 a.m. Friday from a home in the 2600 block of Ken Karyl Avenue.

In other cases:

• A 2001 Honda Accord was reported taken about 10:45 p.m. Saturday from the 2700 block of Washington Street. It was recovered about 2:05 a.m. Sunday in Jackson.

• A .40-caliber Glock handgun and three magazines were reported taken about 9 a.m. Sunday from a home in the 100 block of Latrice Lane.

Vicksburg police made the following arrests Monday:

• Elijah  Eugene Qualls Jr., 19, 60 Smallwood Drive, was arrested about 12:51 a.m. in the 90 block of Warrenton Road on a charge of contempt of court. He was also served with a warrant.

• Jack Crawford, 58, 1219 Crawford St., was arrested about 7 a.m. at the Vicksburg Police Department on a charge of simple assault-creating fear.

• Davonte Jaque Buck, 21, 2630 Roosevelt St., was arrested about 9:57 a.m. in the 1000 block of Meadow Street on charges of trespassing and simple assault-creating fear.

• Warrants were served on Charlotte Ann Hull-Coulter, 48, 6610 Oak Ridge Road.

• Mark Anthony Minor, 22, whose address was listed on Gibson Road, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of Indiana Avenue on charges of simple assault-creating fear, disorderly conduct and escape or attempted escape.
