A weekly roundup of the performances of college football and NFL players from Vicksburg-area high schools

• Jackson State cornerback Alexander Shaw (Warren Central) had one solo tackle in an 18-16 win over Florida A&M.

• Southeast Missouri State defensive lineman Josh Price (St. Aloysius) had four total tackles in a 48-44 win over Southern Illinois.

• Alcorn State receiver Tavares Johnson, Jr. (Vicksburg High) caught one pass for five yards in a 27-15 win over Texas Southern.

• Ole Miss offensive lineman Ben Brown (St. Aloysius) started at right guard in a 62-7 loss to No. 1 Alabama.

• Central Arkansas safety Michael Ware (Warren Central) had four tackles in a 33-25 win over Southeastern Louisiana.

• Northern Colorado cornerback Paul Wilson (Vicksburg High) had two tackles in a 28-25 loss to Sacramento State.

• Tennessee Titans cornerback Malcolm Butler (Vicksburg High) had seven tackles in a 20-17 win over the Houston Texans.
