Funeral Services for Shelby Morris will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Valley M.B. Church, 260 Highway 27 with the Rev. Joe Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at CJ Williams Mortuary Services and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the church on Saturday.

Mr. Morris transitioned on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018. He was 79.

Survivors include two daughters, Telisa Morris and Marzina Jones; one son, Shelby Morris Jr.; one sister, Thelma Morris Turner; one brother, Robert Morris Jr., and a host of other relatives and friends.
