Vicksburg police are looking for a 22-year-old man in connection with the reported statutory rape of a 15-year-old juvenile in the Meadow Street area, Lt. Johnnie Edwards said.

He said the investigation into the incident was the result of a complaint filed by a parent.

In another case, police Monday arrested Danny Earl Bell, 37, 3210 Wisconsin Ave. on a Mississippi Department of Corrections warrant charging him with parole violation.

In other cases:

• A Kubota 1140 ATV and an unknown amount of bushings were reported taken about 9:55 a.m. Monday from Armstrong Flooring, 1735 North Washington St.

• Change totaling $35 was reported taken about 6:39 p.m. Monday from a car parked at the Serenity Nails & Spa, 3412 Pemberton Square Blvd.

• A counterfeit $50 bill with Chinese writing was reported passed Monday at McDonald’s 2316 Iow Blvd.

Vicksburg police made the following arrests Monday:

• A warrant was served on Jeffery Roderick Causey, 38, 734 Locust St.

• Mijor Kay Anderson, 27, 1710 South Street, was arrested about 9:55 a.m. at the Vicksburg Police Department on a charge of contempt of court.

• Warrants were served on Cedrick Jermaine Williams, 36, 228 Demby Drive.

• Joshua Neal Peebles, 35, 200 Cumberland Drive, was arrested about 10:50 a.m. in the 100 block of Leota Lane on charges of speeding and leaving the scene of an accident-property damage. He was also served with warrants.

• Warrants were served on Samuel Denzell Jackson, 24, 1101 B Urban Court.

• AAliyah Nicole Nicholson, 19, 1900 Baldwin Ferry Road, was arrested about 3:22 p.m. on a charge of simple assault.

• A warrant was served Wednesday on Gregory Shane Hearn, 46, 895 Grange Hall Road.

• A warrant was servedWednesday on Elvis Darnell Warner, 61. 1015 Urban Court.

• A warrant was served Wedneday on Derrick Quasae McGee Jr., 23, 102 Enchanted Drive.

• Kenneth Lionel Porter Jr., 22, 30 Branding Court, Jackson, was arrested about 4:32 p.m. Thursday at the Vicksburg Police Department on a charge of auto theft.

• A warrant was served on Broderick Shundell Butler, 47, 3740 Cook Road, Edwards about 1:03 a.m. Wednesday at a traffic stop at Porters Chapel and Halls Ferry roads.

• Warrants were served Wednesday on Clarence Anthony Thomas, 33, 1900 Baldwin Ferry Road.

• Joshua Lamont Harris, 37, 196 Bluecreek Drive, was arrested about 11 a.m. Wednesday at the police department on three counts of contempt of court.

• Quante Keshay Montgomery, 28, 3 Lydia Place, was arrested about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at the police department on a charge of disorderly conduct.

• Lakendra Shnise Taylor, 29, 2721 Alma St., was arrested about 3:12 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Boykins Street, on two counts of contempt of court. She was also served with warrants.

• Jaqueisha Swyneka Montgomery, 18, 3 Lydia Place, was arrested about 4:16 p.m. Wednesday at the police department on two counts of disorderly conduct.

• A warrant was served Wednesday on Christa Rose Geter, 45, 3800 Yarbro St., Jackson, about 5:48 p.m. during a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Washington St.

• Bill Greene Burks, 53, 303 W. University, Livingston, Tennessee, was arrested about 6:21 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of South Frontage Road on a charge of public drunkenness.

• Briah Leanne Bell, 37, 11 Eufaula Trail, Cherokee, Arkansas, was arrested about 6:21 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of South Frontage Road on a charge of public drunkenness.

• Warrants were served Wednesday on Charvez Jervontae Anderson, 22, 3214 Washington St.

• Jonathanainal Truitt, 59, 2811 Drummond St., was arrested about 7:27 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Drummond St. on a charge of possession of cocaine.

• A warrant was served Wednesday on Walter Mickey Jr., 56, 212 Bear Camp road, Valley Park, during a traffic stop at Clay and Cherry streets.
