To the Editor:

Lifting Lives Ministries wants to thank Belk’s for the Back To school Charity Sale.

We are thankful for the generosity that Belk provides our organization in the prior months, allowing us to be on site to sell the Belk’s charity tickets and to inform shoppers with pamphlets of our mission and beliefs for Lifting Lives Ministries.  Through the Family Homeless Shelter and the Warehouse Store we provide safe housing, healthy meals, and clothing to the families that we house.

The management and employees put in a lot of work on these events to help us raise the funds we so desperately need.  Mr. Danny Cooke and Mrs. Trina Carson are always so willing to hear our needs and help in any way possible. 

This was a blessing for the shelter We ask that Belk continue to offer this service in the future so we together can build a stronger community for us all, one family at a time.
