Theresa Ann Ray

Theresa Ann Ray of Valley Park passed away on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at St. Dominic Medical Center in Jackson. She was 70. 

Theresa was the daughter of Earnest Lee and Inez Cook of Vicksburg. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents. 

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert E “Bobby” Ray, Sr. of Valley Park; one son, Robert E. Ray, Jr. (Lisa) of Wasilla, Alaska; one daughter, Missy Ray Hearn (Anthony) of Vicksburg; seven grandchildren, Trenton King, Mickey Ray, Peyton Guider, Kyle Guider, Jillian Hearn, Bowen Hearn and Abigail Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Ayden Thomas and Greyson Guider; two brothers, James Earl Cook of Tennessee, and Dwight Cook of Redwood; one sister, Lynn Reeves of Vicksburg. 

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, at Valley Park Baptist Church Cemetery in Valley Park, under the direction of Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Ken Rhodes and the Rev. Ronnie Purser officiating.
