Eddie and Racheal Hollowell announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Paige, to David “Wes” Allison, the son of Mary Claire Allison and the late James L. Allison Jr., all of Vicksburg.

Miss Hollowell is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Blakely and Mr. Bruce Hollowell and the late Mrs. Sinda Hollowell.

Mr. Allison is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Harrison and the late Mr. and Mrs. James L. Allison Sr.

The bride-elect is a 2014 graduate of Vicksburg High School where she was a member of the choir and performed in many of the school musicals. She attended Hinds Community College and works as a salesperson.

The prospective groom is a 2015 graduate of Porter’s Chapel Academy where he was salutatorian, chaplain of the senior class, and a member of the soccer team. He is an Eagle Scout from BSA Troop 102. He is currently attending Louisiana Tech University, where he is pursuing a degree in kinesiology.

The wedding will be held Oct. 20 at 4:30 p.m. at the Hollowell residence, reception to follow. All friends and family are invited to attend.
