Brett and Ann Robin of Baton Rouge announce the engagement of their daughter, Tess Robin, to Chris Strickland of New Orleans, the son of Joe and Tommye Kay Strickland, of Vicksburg.

Miss Robin is the granddaughter of Della Robin and Clayton Robin, and the late Carmelite and Albert Foster.

Mr. Strickland is the grandson of Calvin Thomas Bolding and the late Claire Melton Bolding and Glyn Ervin Strickland and the late Lucille Furio Strickland.

The bride-elect is a 2011 graduate of St. Michael the Archangel in Baton Rouge and a 2015 graduate of Marymount Manhattan College in New York, where she majored in dance. She is employed as a medical device sales representative.

The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Warren Central High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where he majored in biological sciences. He is a medical device sales representative.

The wedding will be held at 4:45 p.m. Nov. 10 at Felicity Church, Garden District, New Orleans. A reception will follow.
