Bedroom suite reported stolen from home

A bedroom suite consisting of dresser, nightstand, chest of drawers and bed totaling $2,500 was reported taken about 3:24 p.m. Wednesday from a home in the 1400 block of Main Street.

In other cases:

• A resident of the Crossings Apartments, 2169 South Frontage Road, told police they let their person drive their 2010 Chevrolet Camaro and it was not returned. The case is under investigation.

• A Vicksburg man wanted by Warren County Sheriff’s deputies in the Oct. 8 theft of a 20-foot trailer from a business on U. S. 80 was arrested by Vicksburg police officers during a traffic stop, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace.

He said Sabin Christopher Reaves, 28, was being held in the Warren County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond charged with grand larceny.

According to police reports, officers Lt. Jeff Merritt and investigator Donnie Heggins stopped a car containing Reaves on Halls Ferry Road on a matter unrelated to the county charge. The county warrant was discovered during a records check, and Reaves was arrested and turned over to deputies.

• Someone passed a counterfeit $20 about 2:44 p.m. Tuesday at Kroger, 3408 Pemberton Square Blvd.

• A Vicksburg woman faces charges of embezzlement in the reported theft of money from the Circle K at the corner of Clay Street and Old Highway 27.

Vicksburg police Lt. Johnnie Edwards said Aundreal Domoneik Hall, 23, 70 Lakeland Park, is accused of taking $1,858 from the store. Bond information was unavailable.

• Brandon Shane Gibson, 27, 141 Pineywood Drive, Terry, was arrested Monday during a traffic stop on a warrant from Harrison County Circuit Court charging him with leaving the Harrison County Restitution Center.

• Shots were reported fired about 10:20 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of South Street.
