An early morning fire heavily damaged a home at 4022 Mississippi 27 Monday, Warren County fire coordinator Jerry Briggs said.
He said the fire was reported about 8 a.m. Monday in a 911 call from a neighbor who said they saw smoke and the house was on fire. When he arrived at the home, Briggs said, the fire had broken through the roof. Firefighters from the Culkin and Fisher Ferry Volunteer Fire departments responded to the call and extinguished the blaze.
No one was at home and there were no injuries, Briggs said. The fire is under investigation.
