As of Tuesday evening, Halloween is scheduled as planned for Vicksburg and Warren County this evening, despite the threat of potentially severe weather in the area.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said Tuesday there are no plans to alter the planned trick-or-treating between the hours of 5:30 and 8 p.m.

Warren County Emergency Management Director John Elfer said Tuesday there is a risk for some possible severe weather Thursday night.

The National Weather Service in Jackson advises the severe weather possibility is most likely between 11 p.m. tonight until early morning Thursday and could include damaging winds and flash flooding.
