Funeral services for Barbara Ann Copeland are to be held on Sunday, Nov. 4, in the First Baptist Church at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Edmond Gibbs officiating; interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. There will be a visitation held on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 6 to 7 p.m.

Barbara Ann Copeland passed away on Sunday, Oct. 28, in her residence following a sudden illness. She was 66. 

She was a retired nurse and member of the First Baptist Church, the Salvation Army and the T K Soul Fan Club.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Ellis, and her sister, Earline Ellis.

She is survived by her two sons, Virgil Copeland and Terrance Copeland, both of Vicksburg; her mother, Alberta Selmon of Vicksburg; her brothers, John Green and Charles Selmon, both of Vicksburg; her three sisters, Rose Hunt, Patricia Phelps and Lillie Ruffin, all of Vicksburg.
