A 1999 Ford Escort was reported taken about 11:02 a.m. Monday from the 2400 block Cherry Street.

In other cases:

• A television was reported taken about 6:56 a.m. Monday from a house in the 2700 block of Oak Street.

• Shots were reported fired about 1:58 p.m. in the 400 block of Walker Street.

• Shots were reported fired about 12:42 a.m. on Lake Hill Drive.

Vicksburg police made the following arrests Friday through Sunday:

• Phillip DeWitt Shores, 106 Allen Ave., Jonesboro, Louisiana, was arrested about 7:13 p.m. Sunday at Clay and Berryman streets on a charge of possession and sale of methamphetamine. He was also served with several warrants.

• Lee Arthur Shorter, 67, 218 Hillside Drive, was arrested about 7:21 a.m. in the 200 block of Hillside Drive on a charge of contempt of court.

• Myreon Deshun Williams, 27, 25 Fernwood Drive, was arrested about 11:58 p.m. Saturday in the 4100 block of Washington Street on a charge of petit larceny.

• A warrant was served Saturday on Cortez Devon Holt, 26, 13 Katherine Drive.

• Brenda Darlene Huffty, 56, 55 Boy Scout Road, was arrested about 8:14 p.m. Saturday in the 3400 block of Halls Ferry Road on a charge of shoplifting.

• Herman Gerald Smith, 38, 1805 Cherry St., was arrested about 6:49 p.m. at the water park at Catfish Row on a charge of possession of marijuana in a vehicle. He was also served with a warrant.

• Larry Jack Shoops, 45, 1262 Culkin Road, was arrested about 1:48 p.m. at Wisconsin Avenue and John Allen Street on a charge of having an open container of alcohol.

• Patrick Deshawn Cooper, 22, 110 Quinola Lane, was arrested about 11:36 a.m. at Oak and Fairground streets on charges of simple assault and four counts of contempt of court.

• A warrant was served Saturday on Clarence Cox Jr., 19, 1408 Second North St.

• Tina Elaine Sellers, 47, 8383 Oak Ridge Road, was arrested about 5:05 p.m. Friday at Iowa Boulevard and U.S. 61 South, on a charge of first-offense shoplifting.

• A warrant was served on Henry Jordan, 172 Irene St.

• Norh Sonny Taylor, 54, 1301 1/2 Military Ave., was arrested about 11:58 a.m. Friday at the Vicksburg Police Department on charges of shoplifting and petty larceny. He was served with multiple warrants.

• A warrant was served Friday on Dee Antoinette Leach, 31, 736 Morgan Road.
