Turkey with all the trimmings was on the menu Thursday as Crawford Street United Methodist Church held its annual turkey dinner from at the church.

The dinner is the annual fundraiser for the United Methodist Women with all proceeds going toward UMW projects. Some people dined in, while others got their meals to go. Meals included turkey and dressing, corn pudding, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls and a slice of homemade pie.

“The members of our church cook all of our turkeys, all the dressing, and they bring the pies; they do those at their homes,” Cherry Robbins, one of the dinner’s four organizers, said.

Besides a traditional turkey dinner, people also visited the church’s craft fair and bake sale at Crawford Street’s Wesley Hall.

The craft fair featured a selection of items made and donated by church members.
