Linda Weeks

Mrs. Linda “Kaye Kaye” Weeks died on Monday, Nov. 13, 2018, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 60.

Linda was born to her parents, Harold and Winnie Ross Kemp, on June 16, 1958. She was employed with Super Jr. for approximately 18 years.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Harold Kemp; her daddy, Shelby “Chuck” Mann Jr., and her brothers Edward Kemp and Shelby Mann, III.

She is survived by her husband, D. J. Weeks; sons Billy Carl Sibley, Jr. (Angela) and Sohn Sibley, all of Vicksburg; daughter Sheila Sheree Ashley (Calvin) of Vicksburg; her mother, Winnie Mann; step-son Bradley Weeks (Marie) of Carrollton; stepdaughter Amy Leigh Nally (David) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; brothers Stanley Kemp of Japan and Edgar Kemp of Arkansas; sisters Glenda Bruce, Brenda Pettway, Doll LaSalle and Stephanie Arnold, all of Vicksburg, and Renee’ Harmon of Texas; stepsisters Joy Caruthers of Vicksburg and Edwina Carpenter of Tennessee; grandchildren Michael Johnston, Chelsie Johnston, Colton Ashley, Destiny Sibley, Erica Springfield, Mallory Puckett, Mackenzie Puckett, Madison Sibley,

Maylee Barnes, Nathan Sibley, Alexia Sibley, Alli Claire Weeks, McKenzie Nally, Olivia Nally, Trey Ashley, Kaitlyn Ashley and Lauren Emerson; great-grandchildren Christian Johnston, Raylee Emerson and Lincoln Etheridge.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Sibley officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Michael Johnston, Austin Kemp, Shane Kemp, Danial Noble, John “Mike” Bruce and Greg Sanders. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Pettway, Donald Sibley, Jimmy Bruce, Rusty Moore, Robert Sibley, Charles Sibley, Carl Pettway and her Super Jr. family.
