To the editor:

For the ninth straight year, Chaney Family Dental collected candy for the Halloween Candy Buy Back program and our donation this year was 157 pounds of unopened candy.

This candy collected at our office was shipped to California to be packaged and sent to our troops overseas through the “Operation Gratitude” program.  We are thankful for our partners, Chick-fil-A and McDonald’s, who graciously offered gift cards to those who contributed candy. Also a big “thank you” to our local UPS office for their help in packaging the pounds of candy. Thank you Vicksburg for your willingness to be part of this worthwhile program.
