Everette Earl Spears

Everette Earl Spears, 65, a retired mechanic formerly of Vicksburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, in Neshoba County.

Services were 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at the Wilcox Chapel with the Rev. Michael Harper and the Rev. Dudley Winstead officiating. Burial was in New Harmony Cemetery in Neshoba County. Wilcox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Spears, a native of Neshoba County, was a member of New County Line Baptist Church and was a Mason.

Survivors include two sons, Anthony “Tony” Spears of Lena and Chris Spears of Sandhill; daughter, Amy Smith of Puckett; brothers, Marvin Moore of Texas and Tim Spears of Carthage; sisters, Lurline Williams and Sue Wilcher, both of Carthage, and Mary Williams of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dewayne “Puddin” Thrash, Jimmy Williams, Larry Kemp, Glen Kemp, Chris Scallions, and Howard Wilcher.

Honorary pallbearers were Michael Spears, Eric Spears, Deagan Spears, Tanner Powell, and Warren Smith.
