The risk for hazardous weather in Warren County will increase towards the end of the week.

According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, severe thunderstorms are possible later Friday into Saturday as a powerful storm system approaches the region. The main threat appears to be damaging winds.

“This threat is several days away and we will keep everyone informed as we get new information,” John Elfer, Warren County Emergency Management Director, said.
