Officials are advising residents to be mindful of the potential for severe weather tonight into Saturday morning.
According to the National Weather Service, severe thunderstorms are possible as a powerful storm system approaches the region with the main threat being damaging winds, although the possibility of tornadoes cannot be ruled out, as well as hail.
The main threat for Warren County is between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
“We encourage everyone to prepare now and ensure that you have adequate shelter,” John Elfer, Warren County Emergency Management director, said Thursday morning, adding that residents should also make sure their alert systems are in place in case severe weather threatens the area.
