Inez Jones Cullins-Chatman

Funeral services for Inez Jones Cullins-Chatman, 75, who died Dec. 10, 2018, at the Claiborne County Hospital in Port Gibson, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, at First Baptist Church of Port Gibson. Rev. Kevin Winters will officiate. Burial will be in the Providence Christian Church Cemetery, in the Walker Family Plot. Rollins Funeral Home of Port Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be on Friday from 2-5 p.m. at the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel located at 208 Walnut Street, Port Gibson.
Mrs. Chatman was a member of First Baptist Church in Port Gibson. She taught in the public school system and retired after more than 30 years of service. Additionally, she was a pianist for various local churches and the owner of Chatman’s Florist of Port Gibson.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Walker Jones and her sisters, Linda Jones James, Hazel Jones Claiborne and Sandra Jones Porter.
Left to cherish beautiful memories are her two sons, Daryl Cullins and Murriel Dwayne Cullins, both of Manassas, Virginia; her father, Abraham Jones of Port Gibson; two grandsons, Derrick Bond of Chicago, and Darrius Watson of Vicksburg; three great grandchildren, Derrick Bond III, Derrian Bond and Denim Bond; two sisters, Patricia Jones (Lee) Claiborne of Chicago, and Dianne Jones Hubbard of Pattison; one brother, Jerry (Carol) Warfield of Ridgeland; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, loving friends and extended family.
