A Mossberg .22-caliber rifle, Ruger 9mm handgun, $726, toolbox, child’s scooter and an Xbox game console were reported taken about 2:52 p.m. Wednesday from a home in the 100 block of Pemberton Street.

In another case, shots were reported fired about 4:27 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Thompson Street.
