A vehicle fire near the Clay Street and Interstate 20 interchange caused traffic delays Saturday afternoon.

The vehicle caught fire around 1 p.m. and also caused the grass along I-20 to catch fire. Vicksburg Police Department and Fire Department responded to the scene and parts of I-20 were closed as the fire was extinguished and the vehicle cleared from the scene.

No injuries were reported.
