Rodney Keith Harmon

Rodney Keith Harmon died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, in West Monroe, Louisiana. He was 60.

Mr. Harmon was a native of Vicksburg and a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School.

He was the son of the late Charles “BB” Harmon and Verline Ritchie Harmon. He served as a law enforcement officer with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and retired in 2015 after 37 years of service. He was member of Triumph Church in Vicksburg and of Christ Church in West Monroe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sherri Harmon.

He is survived by two sons:  Justin Harmon (Carrie) of Columbus, Ohio, and Nick Harmon of Hattiesburg; a brother, Chuck Harmon of Calhoun, Louisiana; an aunt, Wynona Wilson of Calhoun, Louisiana; and his stepmother, Penny Harmon of Monroe, Louisiana.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at Triumph Church with the Rev. Mike Fields officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Justin Harmon, Nick Harmon, Chuck Harmon, Jimmy Taylor, Ben Shaw and Austin Mann.
