Vicksburg man jailed on $500K bond for Dec. 26 shooting

A Vicksburg man is being held in the Warren County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bond charged with attempted murder, assault with a firearm and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

Vicksburg police Sgt. Curtis Judge said Darryl Green-Williams, 25, 816 Jackson St., is accused of shooting another man multiple times at the corner of Realty and Green streets about 6 a.m. Dec. 26.

The man, who was not identified, was taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center. His condition was unavailable.

The case remains under investigation.

In another case, three men being held by Pearl police on burglary charges are also wanted by Vicksburg officers in connection with the Christmas Eve burglaries of the Hanes Brand outlet store at the Outlets of Vicksburg, 4000 South Frontage Road, and the Corner Market, 3046 Indiana Ave.

The names of the three men were not immediately available.
