According to a press release, International Paper makes it a company goal to donate more than $10 million each year to non-profit organizations as a part of their giving strategy.

Non-profit organizations that are eligible for the grants are those that focus on helping children grow and succeed or those that make the world a better place for their employees and their families.

According to International Paper, most of the company’s donations support their primary causes and follow along with their giving guidelines.

In the past, contributions have been distributed to help assist in child hunger, health and wellness, education and disaster relief.

In 2018, the International Paper Vicksburg Mill donated $65,000 dollars to a variety of nonprofit organizations in Vicksburg, including 456 Robotics, Mississippi CHildren’s Museum, R12 Recovering Ministries, Redwood Elementary School, Storehouse Community Food Pantry, Vicksburg Family Development Service, Warren-County Vicksburg Public Library, and Warren Yazoo Behavioral Health..

To apply for a grant, a nonprofit organization must meet the necessary guidelines before completing an application and submitting it to the IPVicksburg Mill.
