Funeral services for Eunice Beatrice Gee Cattlin are to be held on Saturday, Jan. 12, in the Greater Grove Street M. B. Church at 1 p.m. with Rev. Steven Randle officiating; interment is to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

There will be a visitation held on Friday, Jan. 11, at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m.

Eunice Beatrice Gee Cattlin passed away on Thursday, Jan. 3, in the Merit Health River Region Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was 87. 

She was a homemaker and member of Evergreen M. B. Church where she was also in the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phelom and Maggie Walker Gee; her brothers Elson Gee, Robert Gee Willie Gee, Fred Gee and Arthur Gee; her sisters Magnolia Tipton, Mary Alice Dunn, Lucille Gilson, Mary Ella Hutchins, Elnora Ivory and Hazel Hutchins.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Cattlin of Vicksburg; her sons Eugene Cattlin of Killeen, Texas, and Calvin Cattlin of Redwood; her daughter Shirley Ware of Vicksburg; her sister, Hattie Gee of Hammond, Indiana; eight grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
