Woman charged with third-offense shoplifting

A Vicksburg woman has been arrested on a warrant from Port Gibson police charging her with third-offense shoplifting, Vicksburg police Lt. Johnnie Edwards said.
Jennifer Anita Faye Evans, 22, 121 Pemberton St., was arrested Wednesday.
In other cases:
• An assortment of power tools were reported taken Wednesday about 2:55 p.m. from a storage trailer in the 3200 block of Iowa Boulevard. Reported missing were a Milwaukee band saw, $300; two inflatable mattresses, $100 each; a hammer drill, $200; five hardware cases, $100 each; a welding kit with accessories, $2,000; a side grinder, $300; a quarter-inch impact drive,$150; M-12 impact drive, $150; two DeWalt impact drive, $50 each; five M-18 batteries, $100 each; five 180-volt DeWalt batteries, $100 each; a Little Buddy gas heater, $100; and a Yamaha generator, $800.
• A person reported about 3:42 p.m. Wednesday someone used their debit card number to make a $770 purchase.
