Funeral Services for Wanda Faye Carter Butler will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at Greater Grove Street Baptist Church, 2715 Alcorn Drive, at 11 a.m. Wanda will lie in repose at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of services. Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, at C J Williams Mortuary Services from 1-7 p.m., with family present from 6-7. She will be transported by the way of horse drawn carriage to Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery following her services.

She was gainfully employed with International Paper Company and she was a faithful member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Bovina.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her husband, Joseph Butler; her children, Jerrica Carter, Dorian Carter, Amber Carter, Romeo Carter, Jasmine Freeman, Da’Jah Butler, Jo’Mesha Butler and Jo’Angelo Butler; her mother, Jonnie Carter-Peaches; her father, Joseph Carter; one brother, Joseph A. Carter; five aunts, three uncles, five grandchildren, two stepsisters, three stepbrothers, and a host of other relatives and friends including the Banks, Brown, Butler, Carter, Clemons, Crump, Jefferson, McIntosh, Tolliver, Smith, and Williams families.
