Funeral services for Marniqua Shaylisa Stamps will be Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at the Vicksburg City Auditorium at 12 p.m. Marniqua will lie in repose at the auditorium from 11 a.m. until the hour of services. Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, from 1-7 p.m., with family present from 6-7 p.m. at C J Williams Mortuary Services, 4310 Halls Ferry Road.

Marniqua died at UMMC on Jan. 19, 2019, after a tragic accident on Friday, Jan.18, 2019. She was 20.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her mother, Frannie (Percy) Gray Carter; her father, Marvin (Tara) Stamps; maternal grandparents, Harvey (Mattie) Gary of Vicksburg; her paternal grandparents, Jacob (Verteal) Bell of Jackson; four sisters, 11 brothers, a host of other family members and friends.
