Funeral services for David Emanuel  “Bay Brother” Brown are to be held on Friday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Williams officiating; interment shall follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

David E. Brown passed away on Sunday, Jan. 27, in his home following a sudden illness. He was 63. He was retired from the city of Vicksburg having worked in the Parks and Recreation Department. He also was active in the youth baseball league and was an assistant attendant at W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lincoln Brown Sr.

He is survived by his son, Jared Smith; his two daughters, Adriene Brown and Jasmin Brown, both of Houston, Texas; his mother, Dorothy S. Brown of Vicksburg, his two brothers, Lincoln Brown Jr., of Vicksburg and Edgar Brown of Jackson; and his sister, Donna Brown Jackson of Dallas, Texas.
