Vikings topple Terry in tennis

Warren Central’s tennis team started the 2019 season with a clean sweep.
The Vikings only dropped one set Tuesday as they rolled to a 7-0 victory over Terry in their season opener.
Audrey Jennings had the toughest match of the day — and the only competitive one — winning 3-6, 6-4, 10-4 in girls singles.
In the other six matches, the Vikings only lost a total of nine games in 12 sets.
The boys doubles team of John Jabour and Steed Springfield, and the mixed doubles team of Ian Gordon and Laney Smith both won their matches 6-0, 6-0.
Greyson Parman won 6-0, 6-1 in boys singles.
Warren Central will play Greenville Thursday at 4 p.m. at Halls Ferry Park.
