Funeral services for McArthur Winston are to be held on Saturday, March 2, at Toombs Funeral Home, 2108 Peck Street Muskegon, Michigan, at 11 a.m. with Bishop M. Bankhead officiating.

McArthur Winston passed away on Feb. 26, following a brief illness. He was 73. 

He was a member of the Beech Grove M. B. Church. He attended Cedar Elementary School and Rosa A Temple High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marie Winston; three brothers, James C. Winston, Wallace Winston and Leo Winston; two sisters, Gladys Winston and Sure Marie Anderson.

He is survived by his daughter, Ebony Marie Hobson; a granddaughter, Eva Marie Hobson; two brothers, Thomas Winston and Charles Winston, both of Vicksburg; four sisters, Harriet Lands of New Orleans, Beatrice Perkins, Dorothy Erves (Donald) and Thelma Winston, all of Vicksburg; and a special nephew, Steven Winston (Jennifer).
