Warren Central tennis sweeps Greenville, 7-0

Warren Central’s tennis team stayed red hot on Thursday by beating Region 4-6A rival Greenville 7-0 at Halls Ferry Park.
The Vikings only dropped eight games in the match, and have only lost one set and no individual matches in their first two team matches this season against Greenville and Terry.
Grayson Parman in boys singles, along with the doubles teams of Elaina Bailey and Cali Grace Davis and Ian Gordon and Laney Smith, all won 6-0, 6-0 on Thursday.
John Jabour and Steed Springfield, as well as Jane Hopson and Madison Embry, won their doubles matches 6-0, 6-1. The No. 2 boys doubles team of Gordon Wilkerson and Parker Waites won 6-1, 6-0.
Half of the games Greenville won came in the girls singles match. Warren Central’s Audrey Jennings defeated Greenville’s Myesha Nealon 6-1, 6-4.
Warren Central will play another Region 4-6A match Tuesday, when it hosts Provine at 4 p.m. at Halls Ferry Park.
