A Vicksburg man faces drug charges after his arrest Tuesday on a drug warrant, Vicksburg police Lt. Johnnie Edwards said.

Keafur Lamont Wallace, 35, 1026 Polk St., is accused in the warrant of sale of cocaine within 1500 feet from a school. He is being held without bail in the Madison County Jail pending an initial appearance in Municipal Court Wednesday.

Wallace was arrested at his home about 5 a.m. Tuesday by police and the Mississippi Highway Patrol S.W.A.T team.

The arrest was the result of an undercover operation that revealed drugs were being sold from his home.
