Myrna Earley Turnipseed

Myrna Earley Turnipseed died Saturday March 2, 2019. She was 79.

Mrs. Turnipseed was born in Bellingham, Washington, to the late Clifford J. Earley and Edna Colpeart Earley. She was a graduate of Seattle University, and had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1974. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church where she served on various committees including the environment committee. She was a member of the Vicksburg Art Association, and she enjoyed gardening. She retired as a teacher with the Vicksburg/Warren School District.    

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turnipseed was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kelly Turnipseed, and a son, Patrick John Turnipseed.

She is survived by a son, Thomas Kelly Turnipseed (Hong Li), and a granddaughter, Kexin Wang. 

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Riles Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will follow at noon at St. Michael Catholic Church. Interment will be in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Ron Moomaw, Hilton Kalousche, Patrick Griffith, Lito Meer and Joe Loviza. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenda Loviza and Anita Webb.
