To the editor:

Vicksburg Main Street Program is truly grateful and appreciative to all of our volunteers, the City of Vicksburg departments, Vicksburg Police Department, the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, and our downtown Merchants who went the extra mile to make the Mardi Gras parade such a success.

This year we had several departments and supervisors step-up and be huge assets to Main Street and the success of our parade: Parks and Recreation, Rick Daughtry and crew, Community Service, Lionel Johnson and crew, and Traffic, WL Sanders and crew.

We would also like to thank our judges, banner carriers, line-up committee and most of all our participants for their hard work and dedication. 

A Big thank you to Marcus Furniture for doing a wonderful job as Grand Marshal!

Thank you again to everyone who made this year’s Mardi Gras Parade such a success!
