W.T. Andrew Williams Sr.

Funeral services for W. T. Andrew Williams Sr., are to be held on Saturday, March 23, in the Springfield Baptist Church, 5076 Highway 3, Yazoo City, at noon with the Rev. Shirley Jackson officiating; interment shall follow in the Dixie Farm Cemetery in Satartia, under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

W. T. Andrew Williams Sr., passed away on Saturday, March 16, in his residence following a sudden illness. He was 80.   

He was retired from the Warren County Barn and was a member of the United Worship Center Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Geraldine Williams Sr.; his first wife, Madie Barnes Williams and sister, Inez Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Parker Williams of Vicksburg; his two sons, William T. Williams Jr., and Allen E. Williams, both of Yazoo City, and Calvin James of Vicksburg; two daughters, Ella J. Williams Caples and Dana M. Williams Scott, both of Yazoo City, Mary Valentine of Atlanta, Georgia, and Vickie James of Vicksburg; his three brothers, Leo Williams of Oklahoma, Nick Williams Jr., and Lamonia Williams, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his five sisters, Claudette Haggard of Vicksburg, Elva Jean Jackson, Earshaline Hodges, Geraldine Williams, all of Columbus, Georgia, Catherine Barnes and Shirley McCoy, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
