Funeral services for Charles C Brown Jr. were 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at Cedar Grove M. B. Church with the Rev. James Archer officiating; interment followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Charles C. Brown Jr. passed away on Tuesday April 2 at St Dominic’s Hospital following a brief illness. He was 58.  He was retired from the U. S. Air Force and had worked as a supervisor for the Eaton Corp. (Cooper Lighting/Westinghouse)

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles C. Brown, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Brown of Vicksburg; his son, Charles C. Brown III of Vicksburg; his daughters, Shayla White and Jassmine Brown, both of Vicksburg; his mother, Lorraine Brown Johnson of Vicksburg; his four brothers, Eugene Brown of Jackson, Gerald Brown of Manton, California, Michael Brown of Sanford, Virginia, and Carlos Brown of West Covina, California; and six grandchildren.
